CMS' FinTech practice is home to one of Spain's most renowned teams given its participation in the development of the sector in the country from the very beginning. 

We work closely with the Spanish FinTech and InsurTech Association, which brings together over 150 companies. In fact, our experts have advised the Association on highly important matters such as the implementation of Spain's first regulatory sandbox, payments (PayTech) and insurance law (InsurTech).

Through a disruptive approach, CMS' FinTech department focuses on driving growth in the industry by advising start-ups and scale-ups already established in this area. Over the past five years, our professionals have had a hand in some of the most innovative projects in the Spanish financial sector, providing regulatory and corporate-based advice. In essence, knowing the ins and outs of the sector is paramount to be able to provide the best possible legal advice.
