Álvaro Seijo, CMS Partner, Named “Rising Star of the Year” at the Managing IP Awards 2026

Álvaro Seijo Bar, Partner in the Intellectual Property, Industrial Property and Intangibles practice at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo, has been appointed (named) “Rising Star of the Year” at the Managing IP Awards, held last night in London. The award recognises his contribution to the delivery of high-quality legal advice on matters of significant strategic value relating to intangible assets and digital law.

In addition, CMS was recognised in this edition as “Europe Design Firm of the Year” and “UK Copyright Firm of the Year”, alongside several individual awards granted to firm partners: João Leitgo (Portugal), Practitioner of the Year; Neeraj Thomas (United Kingdom), Practitioner of the Year; Joel Vertes (United Kingdom), Soft IP Practitioner of the Year; and the aforementioned Rising Star of the Year award granted to Álvaro Seijo.
