Carlos Peña is a Of Counsel of the Corporate / M&A department at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo. He possesses vast experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, privatisations, joint ventures, strategic alliances and other corporate matters.

He is a member or secretary of the board of directors of several listed and non-listed companies, including a number of credit and venture capital entities such as Merrill Lynch España, Lazard Asesores Financieros, Samsonite España, Sulzer Pumps, Buhler España, Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company, etc.

Relevant experience

Carlos has advised sector-leading companies on a variety of operations, such as USS on the acquisition of a 50.1% stake in Redexis Gas, HP on the purchase of Samsung's printer business spanning more than 40 jurisdictions and Colgate-Palmolive on the acquisition of Laboratoires Filorga Cosmétiques.
