Ignacio Cerrato es socio del departamento de Corporate / M&A de CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo. Está especializado en fusiones y adquisiciones de empresas nacionales e internacionales, contando con amplia experiencia en derecho mercantil, contractual y gobierno corporativo (desempeñando el rol de secretario en Consejos de Administración).

Ignacio Cerrato is Partner of the Corporate / M&A department at CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo. He specializes in mergers and acquisitions of both domestic and international companies, with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, contract law, and corporate governance (having served as secretary in Boards of Directors).

His practice focuses on advising industrial clients, as well as private equity firms, funds, and venture capital, on investments, divestitures, and joint ventures, as well as management incentive plans (MIPs), across a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, real estate, energy, and consumer products.

Additionally, he regularly participates in the design and coordination of cross-border restructuring and structural modification projects. He has been recognised for his expertise in Corporate/M&A by Chambers & Partners.
