Pablo de la Fuente is a Senior Associate in the Insurance, Reinsurance & Innovation Department of CMS Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo. Pablo specialises in advising on different regulatory matters affecting the insurance sector and also has extensive experience in contractual and (pre-)litigation matters, defending the interests of entities in the sector.

In terms of regulatory advice, Pablo has advised national and international clients on the different regulations affecting the insurance sector (Solvency II, Distribution regulations, Insurance Contract Law, prevention of money laundering, design of insurance products, customer service regulations, etc.). Pablo has also assisted in the processing of all kinds of licences and proceedings before the sectoral authority (DGSFP).

Pablo has extensive experience in providing contractual and commercial advice to entities in the insurance sector. He has assisted in the negotiation of different types of contracts, such as distribution agreements and strategies, portfolio transfers, takeovers of shares in regulated entities, negotiation of agency agreements, etc.
