A new head for CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre's Morocco office

Marc Veuillot, 41, has joined CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre's Morocco office, which he will head jointly with Wilfried Le Bihan.

The Casablanca office is now made up of about twenty people and is registering an ongoing rise in turnover, in an economic climate which remains uncertain.

Marc Veuillot holds a postgraduate degree in Business Law from Lille 2 University (1995) and a further postgraduate degree in Legal, Accounting and Tax Auditing from the University of Auvergne (1999), as well as the CAPA professional certificate (2004).

After early experience as an in-house lawyer in Lille, Marc began his career as a legal and tax adviser with Landwell & Partners in 2000. Landwell is a Paris law firm and part of the PricewaterhouseCoopers organisation. Marc initially worked in the Financial Services group and then joined Mergers & Acquisitions. In 2005, he began to specialise in Algerian and Moroccan taxation and business law, advising foreign investors and supporting them in their Algerian investment projects. In 2006, he relocated to Casablanca where he was Landwell & Partners' Moroccan representative. In that role he played an active part in the redeployment of PwC's / Landwell & Partners' Moroccan activities.

Over the last 6 years, Marc has been involved in many significant transactions in Morocco and Algeria, notably in the industrial and energy sectors but also in banking & finance and telecommunications. Against this background he has very often been asked to advise and support foreign investors entering the Moroccan market.
