Laurent Marquet de Vasselot, 52, a partner in the employment law department and a member of the Executive Board of CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, has been appointed professor at associate level (Professeur des Universités, associé) at Université Panthéon - Assas (Paris II) by the Order in Council of 19 August 2013.
The employment law specialist unit (Laboratoire de droit social) at Paris II is headed up by Professor Bernard Teyssié and is a major centre of expertise covering all aspects of national, European and international employment and social security law.
Laurent Marquet de Vasselot is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris and holds a D.E.A (doctoral program degree) in law. He is a Doctor of Law. Specialising in employment law, he is involved in providing expertise, consulting and negotiations, as well as legal defence services. He provides support to companies to prepare and implement their employee-management relations and human resources policies and defends their interests in legal matters, especially in disputes generating risk for the company.
As a multidisciplinary corporate law firm, CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre has one of the largest employment law departments, with 65 lawyers, 13 of whom are partners.
