CMS BFL adviser to Pomona transfers Fruidor to Baninvest

The transaction has been financed through equity capital and bank financing granted by Natixis. Fruidor is specialised in import, ripening and marketing of bananas. With a little more 300 staff, the company has realized a turnover of 192million Euros. The Pomona group, distributor to operators of foodstuffs, employs 8200 people and has a turnover of 2,5bn Euros in 2007.
For this deal, the Pomona group was advised as regards legal and fiscal aspects by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, Philippe Rosenpick, Isabelle Buffard-Bastide, Arnaud Hugot and Cécile Sommelet in corporate and, François Charpail in tax law.
