This project of Private-Public-Partnership amounting to 68 millions Euros on a term of 33 years has been entered into on the last 21 July between the State and a dedicated company, held and financed by Auxifip (Crédit Agricole's subsidiary) associated with the Vinci Construction group.
The project of Gendarmerie barracks, at departmental and regional vocation, will reassemble over 260 servicemen and civilians on over 47000sqm whose 10000sqm offices, training course rooms, workshops, shooting ranges and a gymnasium. This new structure, which will accommodate notably the Officer Staff of Lower-Normandy, will include also 162 flats and 60 studio apartments for policemen and families. The construction of the barracks should begin in March 2009 and end at the latest in March 2011.
