CMS BFL and DS Avocats provided advice to XL Airways France on acquiring a majority holding in the capital of AirtoB
In February 2010, the airline company, XL Airways acquired a majority holding in the capital of AirtoB, a tour operator specialising in low cost travel mainly in Italy. The acquisition of this holding was carried out in partnership with Mr Frédéric de Fournoux, the Director of AirtoB and Evana, a minority shareholder. It was mainly implemented by a capital increase in AirtoB subscribed for by XL Airways France and Evana.
CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised XL Airways France and drafted the legal documents relating to the acquisition of this majority holding.
