CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised the Le Noble Age group on the establishment of a syndicated loan for 150 million euros

10/07/2015

The business law firm CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre advised the Le Noble Age group on the establishment of its first syndicated loan. This was a revolving credit facility for 150 million euros, for a term of five years including an option to extend the loan for one year. This revolving credit facility was taken out to refinance existing bilateral credit lines as well as to finance other needs of the Le Noble Age group. This funding has been completed by a programme of commercial papers for 120 million euros designed to finance the group's short-term needs.

The financial advisor to the Le Noble Age group was Bfinance (Muriel Nahmias and Didier Philouze), which offered banks an innovative negotiating process in which CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, advisor to the borrower, was responsible for drafting the legal loan documentation.

The loan was concluded with a pool made up of the Le Noble Age group's historic partner banks: BNP Paribas, Banque CIC Ouest, Banque Populaire Atlantique, Banque Européenne du Crédit Mutuel, Caisse d'Epargne Bretagne Pays de Loire, Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Mutuel Atlantique Vendée, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Arkea Banque Entreprises et Institutionnels, Natixis, Neuflize OBC and Société Générale.

For the establishment of this financing, the Le Noble Age group was advised on legal aspects by Grégory Benteux (partner) and Magali Béraud and Katalin Zakhar, associates working for CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre.

The lenders were assisted by Sabine Bironneau (partner) and Sophie Lok, associates working for Hogan Lovells.
