CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, adviser to Pomona for the transfer of Tallo Verde to Vega Mayor

Tallo Verde, company specialised in the trade of ready-to-eat fresh foodstuffs, and notably in packet salads, runs a 4500sqm factory in Noblejas in the South of Madrid and markets "Tallo Verde", "Minuto Verde" and "Seleccion del Gourmet" brands.

The Pomona group, distributor to operators of foodstuffs, employs 8200 people and had a turnover of 2,5bn Euros in 2007. Agrial, the cooperative agricultural and food industry group, of which turnover in 2007 was 1,7bn Euros has a staff of 6700 people.

For this deal, Pomona Group was advised on legal and tax issues by CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, Philippe Rosenpick, Arnaud Hugot and Cécile Sommelet as corporate lawyers and François Charpail in tax law teamed up with the Spanish law firm Vialegis.

Vega Mayor was advised by the Spanish law firm Arpa.
