This year's prize-winner wrote the dissertation at the University of Cologne as part of her doctoral studies.

The congratulatory address was delivered by Dr Werner Hoyer, minister of state at the Foreign Office and commissioner for German-French cooperation.
CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre and CMS Hasche Sigle first awarded the joint German- French CMS Prize in 2005 in order to promote the exploration of legal or tax topics on a comparative basis in both countries. The award is made to postgraduates for theses or dissertations.

The Franco-German CMS Workgroup is led jointly by partners Dr Gerd Leutner, CMS Hasche Sigle and François Hellio, CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre.
