CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre assisted Bolton Solitaire before the French Competition Authority in a case involving practices of exchanging information on the cleaning products and cosmetics industry.
The Authority’s decision of 18 December 2014 received significant press coverage as the Authority ordered very high fines (951 million euros). The Authority’s econometric analyses, which were supposed to calculate the damage to the economy, were however set aside.
