With the arrival of a new partner, Olivier Leroy, and three other experienced staff members CMS Lyon has beefed up its competition/distribution law expertise. Olivier Leroy aims to increase CMS's consultancy and litigation practice in Lyon, working alongside Laurent Romano, who has been one of the firm's economic law partners since 2004.

CMS Lyon now has 29 partners in 7 departments.

Olivier Leroy (43) graduated from EDHEC, holds a post-graduate qualification in business contract law from the University of Montpellier and is a former researcher. He lectures at the University of Dijon, at the Ecole Des Avocats de la région Rhône-Alpes and at other institutions.

Before joining CMS in Lyon, he was partner and head of Competition/Distribution at Fidal, also in Lyon (2005-2016) but began his career with Landwell & Partners. His team includes three other former members of Fidal: Elvire Mazet, Gaëlle Serrano and Laure Vago.

CMS's Economic Law Department in Lyon now has 12 associates, including 3 partners.
