CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, partner of the campaign « Biodiversity, our lifes are bound » within the scope of its society commitment policy

15/05/2008

CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre which promotes sustainable development actions and wishes to become involved in environment safeguard, is partner of the campaign "Biodiversités, nos vies sont liées" which will be launched on 22 May 2008 by Noé Conservation Association.

That is a public awareness campaign on biodiversity stakes. Its aim is to show to French public that human life tightly depends upon biodiversity and to lead everyone to become promoter of its own safeguard through a behavioural improvement in its daily life.

This campaign, which will last until 2010, is organised round about 2 facets:

1. A general public exhibition from 22 May till 30 September 2008 in Jardin des Plantes of Paris, then throughout France for discovering close links uniting human beings to biodiversity and the first solutions to contribute to a sustainable world.
2. An Internet site: www.agisavecnoe.org to get the right gestures, to share them with other persons and to adopt the "Biodiv'Attitude" every day.

This partnership lies within the scope of CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre's society commitment policy led since the end of 2007 with the Association "IMS Entreprendre pour la Cité".

As to Noé Conservation:
This association has the mission to safeguard biodiversity through preservation programs of threatened species and their natural surroundings. It promotes a change in our behaviours in favour of environment.

As to IMS-Entreprendre pour la Cité:
Created in 1986, IMS-Entreprendre pour la Cité federates a network of 200 enterprises by accompanying them in their commitment towards society. The association helps enterprises to develop initiatives originating a greater social equity and adding value to local areas where they are set up: social integration of potentially discriminated publics (especially in sensitive suburbs), promotion of non-discrimination and diversity management, solidarity partnerships, access to products and services for people in difficulty, support to local social and economic development...

More widely, IMS invites enterprises to open new means of collaboration with other persons involved in the City. The aim is to help them to undertake processes of commitment towards the social community and to meet their stakes and society's expectations.
