CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre has recruited Saliha Cherrad to serve as a legal specialist in its Competition & EU expert group. Ms Cherrad, 28, holds a Master 1 degree in Health and Social Law (2005) from Université de Poitiers and a Master 2 degree in Health Law (2006) from Université de Tours.
Ms Cherrad worked at the French Ministry of Labour, Employment and Health for nearly six years in the General Health Department, first handling relations with healthcare professionals and then monitoring drug regulations. In June 2010, she was appointed deputy to the chief of the national drug bureau.
At CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, Ms Cherrad will be responsible for developing legal work related to the regulation of healthcare products, in the team led by Bernard Geneste, Partner. Ms Cherrad also teaches courses on European Law and Pharmaceutical Law at Université de Poitiers and Université de Tours.
