CMS, sponsor of the International Hotel Investment Forum

CMS sponsored the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin for the seventh time.

IHIF is the main industry event of the year as it is the one time the group can meet its clients, targets and intermediaries in one place. The conference is attended by delegates from over 50 Countries and comprises a packed schedule of panels, workshops, keynote presentations and networking sessions. It provided CMS with an invaluable opportunity to meet the leading hotel investors, operators and owners.

The theme for this year was "Changing Gear" and our stand strapline was "CMS: the driving force in Europe". This theme reflects the changes occurring in the global capital markets and the European lodging sector in particular. Whilst interest in the European hotel investment industry is expected to remain strong for the foreseeable future, changes occurring in the capital markets will no doubt alter investment strategy in the short to medium term.
