The First Oscar in Company Law and Stock Market Law awarded to the work "Financial Law", published under Alain Couret

The 2008 Oscar in company law and stock market law has been awarded to two works of which Précis Droit Financier (Financial Law), to be published in Editions Dalloz on 25 June 2008.


Published under Alain Couret, Head of Legal Survey Department, the said "Doctrine", at CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre and Hervé Le Nabasque, both Professors at University of Paris I, with the invaluable contribution of Arnaud Reygrobellet, Professor at University of Nanterre and member of Legal Survey Department, the said "Doctrine", at CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre, and the participation of five other renowned academics (Professors Coquelet, Granier, Poracchia, Raynouard and Robine).

Created by Dalloz Publishing House and Professor Dominique Schmidt, the Company Law and Stock Market Law Oscar awards the top scientific works in company law and stock market law. Every two years, it is endowed with a prize worth Euro15,000.

The 2008 Oscar jury was composed of: Jean-Jacques Daigre, Professor at University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, Michel Germain, Professor at University of Paris II-Assas, Véronique Magnier, Professor at University of Paris-Sud-11, Michel Storck, Professor at Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg and Alain Lienhard, editor of Recueil Dalloz (Dalloz Review).
