Yves Huyghé de Mahenge joins CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre

Yves Huygué de Mahenge, a 60-year-old lawyer, spent most of his career at Freshfields, which he joined as a lawyer in 1979. He was a partner at Freshfields from 1982 until 2006. He was highly involved in the firm's development in France and expansion throughout Europe. He managed the Paris office and then established and managed the Milan and Rome offices.

More recently, he was Managing Partner at Dewey Leboeuf in Paris and member of its European Committee (2006-2008). At the same time, he lectured at the University of Aix en Provence in the capacity as Fellow Professor and at Insead.

He was admitted to the Paris Bar Association from 2002 until 2005.

He is currently a member of the French Bar School's Board and teaches a module on Law Firm Strategy and Management.
