Marie joined the Litigation team of CMS Francis Lefebvre in 2019 after her internship in the Litigation team and several previous internships in international law firms as Allen & Overy Luxembourg and Willkie Farr & Gallagher Paris.
She assists clients in all types of proceedings before French courts, and in in-court or out-of-court settlement negotiations in several areas of business law, in particular:
- Civil and commercial matters: all kinds of contractual litigations (contractual liability, enforcement, termination…) in commercial law, banking, real estate, insurance, and all kinds of tort litigations (unfair competition, brutal breach of commercial relations or negotiations, professional liability…)
- Corporate and M&A matters: shareholder disputes, directors' liability, dismissal of directors, asset and liability warranties, ...
- Insurance matters: coverage analysis, enforcement of insurance policies (PI, D&O, E&O, W&I…), analysis of the validity and application of exclusion clauses, ...
- Corporate crime matters: Fraud, identity theft of company's directors, misappropriation of corporate assets, tax fraud, money laundering, ...
