COVID-19: European Commission gives green light to aid scheme for German airports

In support of its airports, Germany has set up an aid scheme aimed both at compensating airport operators for the damage suffered as a result of COVID-19 and at providing them with liquidity support in the form of grants, loan guarantees, subsidised interest rates and deferrals of certain taxes.
