As part of the continued growth of our Business Development, Marketing & Communications team, we are looking for a Business Development Officer to support the Firm’s strategic development, client initiatives and market positioning.

The Business Development Officer will join a young and dynamic team of four and report directly to the Head of Business Development, Marketing & Communications. Working closely with partners and lawyers across all practice groups, the successful candidate will contribute to a broad range of business development and profile-raising initiatives supporting the Firm’s continued growth in Luxembourg and internationally.

The title and seniority level of the role may be adjusted depending on the candidate’s experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development Execution: Act as the central point of coordination for BD activities across practices, supporting the implementation of firm‑wide and practice‑level initiatives, identifying and tracking client, sector and market opportunities, and proactively suggesting practical actions and improvements to support business growth.
  • Pitching & Proposals: Coordinate and prepare pitches and proposals across practices, including drafting and tailoring content, managing inputs and timelines, and ensuring consistency, quality and client relevance throughout the process.
  • BD Infrastructure & Tools: Own the day‑to‑day management of BD infrastructure such as CRM, credentials and pitch materials, ensuring information is accurate, up to date and effectively used to support BD delivery and reporting.
  • Client Development & Campaign Delivery: Support client development and account initiatives through the delivery of BD campaigns, including the coordination of client communications, events and engagement activities, as well as contributing to client intelligence and opportunity monitoring.
  • Profile Raising & Submissions: Actively manage and deliver legal directory submissions to strengthen the firm’s external profile and market positioning.

Profile

The successful candidate must have experience in Business Development or Account Management, preferably within a law firm or within a professional services environment setting.

The candidate will demonstrate:

  • A strong execution‑focused BD mindset, with a structured and methodical approach.
  • Strong written and analytical skills, with the ability to transform complex inputs into clear messaging.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
  • A proactive and hands‑on attitude, with the confidence to propose ideas and improvements.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within BDMC and with fee‑earners, while taking ownership of deliverables.
  • Fluency in French and English is essential. German would be an advantage.
