Alejandro is a Partner in CMS Luxembourg Tax practice. Alejandro has experience in tax structuring advice for real estate & private equity funds, securitization transactions and project financing. He has also assisted financial institutions in Luxembourg in the field of exchange of information (FATCA/CRS and DAC 6).
He has published several articles in university and international tax publications, including the International Fiscal Association (IFA) 2020 Luxembourg Branch report on exchange of information.
Before joining CMS Luxembourg, Alejandro gained several years of experience working both as in-house legal and tax counsel for a French insurance group and as senior associate in the Luxembourg tax team of an international law firm, being seconded to a global investment bank in London. He has also lectured on tax in Universities in Luxembourg and Colombia.
Alejandro is a qualified lawyer admitted to the bars of Luxembourg (Avocat au Barreau du Luxembourg - Liste IV), France (Paris) and Colombia (Abogado).
He has been recognised by Legal 500 2025 and ranked as Rising Star by ITR World Tax 2024.
