Michel is a Managing Associate in the Capital Markets practice at CMS Luxembourg.

He advises on the set-up of regulated and unregulated securitisation vehicles and assists clients with the structuring and issuance of listed and non-listed financial instruments.

Michel has significant professional experience in Corporate Law and Capital Markets. Before joining CMS Luxembourg in 2025, he worked for 3 years as a Senior Legal Counsel for financial institutions in Luxembourg, and 12 years at top tier law firms in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo).

Michel coordinates the extension courses of Resolution of Conflicts within the Corporate and Capital Markets and of Banking Law, Capital Markets and New Applied Technologies, both offered by the Center for Studies and Research in Law at the Law School of the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CEPED/UERJ). He is also the author of legal articles on securities regulation.

He is a fully qualified lawyer admitted to the Bars of Brazil, Portugal and Luxembourg.
