We Are Recruiting a Junior Associate – Employment Law
As part of the continued growth of our Employment Law practice, we are seeking a Junior Associate with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. You will advise a diverse client base comprising Monegasque and international companies, family-owned groups, financial institutions and senior executives on a broad range of Monegasque employment law matters. You will be involved in both advisory and litigation work relating to human resources management, individual and collective employment relationships, and employment law compliance. You will work closely with the partners and other practice groups of the firm on high-value matters. This position offers direct client exposure, a significant level of responsibility and the opportunity to develop your expertise within one of the Principality’s leading employment law practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and assist clients on all aspects of Monegasque employment law.
- Conduct in-depth legal research and monitor legislative and regulatory developments.
- Draft legal opinions, memoranda, employment contracts, internal policies and other employment-related documentation.
- Assist clients with recruitment matters, workforce management and termination procedures.
- Support clients in disciplinary proceedings and human resources-related matters.
- Represent and assist clients in administrative inspections, negotiations and proceedings before the competent authorities and courts of the Principality.
- Advise on social protection and Monegasque social security law matters.
- Assist employers with their establishment in Monaco and with employee mobility matters.
- Protect and represent clients’ interests in existing or potential employment disputes.
- Provide day-to-day strategic advice on employment, organisational and HR-related issues.
- Contribute to the development of client relationships and the growth of the firm's Employment Law practice.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree in Employment Law, Labour Law, Corporate/Business Law, or an equivalent qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of experience gained within a law firm or a recognised employment law practice.
- Good knowledge of Monegasque employment law and the social regulations applicable in the Principality.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
- Strong client-service mindset, attention to detail and proactive approach.
- Fluent command of both French and English, written and spoken.
