Private Clients Associate
We are seeking a talented and motivated Legal Associate to join our Private Clients practice. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a wide range of matters involving private international law, wealth and estate planning, advisory work, and litigation.
Your Responsibilities
As part of our Private Clients team, you will:
Advise high‑net‑worth individuals and families on matters involving private international law, cross‑border structuring, and conflict‑of‑law issues.
Assist in the design and implementation of estate planning, wealth structuring, and asset protection strategies.
Draft legal memoranda, advisory notes, contracts, and various legal documents.
Conduct in‑depth legal research and contribute to the development of tailored legal solutions for clients.
Support the handling of litigation matters related to private clients, including the preparation of submissions and coordination with external counsel when necessary.
Participate in client meetings, contribute to ongoing case management, and help maintain strong, long‑term client relationships.
Contribute to the business development efforts of the practice, including preparing proposals and participating in client‑facing initiatives.
Your Profile
Strong academic background in private international law, civil law, or related fields.
Prior experience in private client work, estate planning, or litigation is a plus.
Excellent analytical, drafting, and research skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong interpersonal skills and a client‑oriented mindset.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
