CMS has advised hotel investor Xead Group Sarl from Luxembourg on the management buy-out of Fletcher Hotels Holding B.V. from founder Chris Luken. Xead acquires together with the management board of directors of Fletcher Hotels and NIBC Bank all shares in the capital of Fletcher Hotels Holding B.V. All Fletcher hotels are part of this transaction.
Fletcher Hotels is the largest hotel chain in the Netherlands. It has 73 hotels and an annual turnover of EUR 125 million. The new owners want to expand Fletcher Hotels into a chain of 100 hotels. The vast majority of the hotels are situated along the Dutch coast, in natural areas and on the Dutch Wadden Islands.
