Wout Olieslagers has joined CMS in the Netherlands as a counsel on 1 December 2025. With his arrival, CMS strengthens its IT & Data Protection team, which Olieslagers will lead.
Olieslagers is an experienced lawyer specialised in information law and privacy law. He advises organisations on AI regulation, IT contracts, GDPR compliance, cybersecurity, and data governance. In recent years, Olieslagers has focused on implementing EU legislation, including the AI Act, Data Act, and Digital Operational Resilience Act. He also has extensive experience with data breaches and international data transfers.
