Leonard Böhmer specialises in insurance law, transport law and risk management. In particular, he advises national and international companies in insurance and other industries on risk management issues.
Leonard is head of the Litigation & Insurance Practice Group. He is a member of the advisory committee on civil procedures of the Netherlands Bar Association. He contributed to the Dutch chapter of Lord Justice Jackson's preliminary report on costs.
Leonard is a lecturer for a number of postgraduate courses, and a regular speaker at seminars and conferences in the Netherlands and abroad. He is a former Dean of the Bar Association in the District of Utrecht and has been a member of the board of the Netherlands Bar Association.
