Louisa Engels is counsel and lawyer of the Real Estate & Construction practice area group of our firm in Amsterdam.
She is an experienced and recognised specialist in procurement and construction law. She is the trusted advisor and sparring partner to many contracting authorities and commercial parties. In recent years, Louisa has focused, among other things, on complex ICT projects, the renovation and renewal of infrastructure, public transport concessions, Didam issues and area developments.
Louisa lectures and publishes regularly, including for the Institute for Construction Law, the Academy for Legal Practice, the Construction Campus and various professional journals. She heads the Procurement Law Committee of the Law for Climate Foundation and is network leader of the JUC Procurement Law Network.
Louisa has been with CMS since 2025. She previously worked at Pels Rijcken from 2013 until 2018 and at Croon Huith from 2018 until 2025.
