Marlous de Groot works as an advocaat in our Banking & Finance Practice Area Group, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She specialises in insolvency law, restructuring and banking litigation. Marlous acts as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings and advises banks, lease and factoring companies on matters of insolvency law, security rights and debt recovery.​

She is an active member of INSOLAD (the Dutch Association of Insolvency Lawyers). Marlous graduated from Utrecht University and from Amsterdam Nyenrode Law School in 2005 and joined CMS in January 2006.
