Beate Kathrine Berge works in CMS Kluge's department for Energy, Industry & Climate. Her main areas of expertise include contract law, energy law, negotiation and dispute resolution. Berge has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating customised contracts tailored to the client’s specific needs and requirements, in accordance with the industry and practices the clients operate within. This includes everything from commission agreements and agreements regarding the purchase and sale of goods and services, to large and complex contracts to be used in Norway or internationally.
In the energy field, Berge focuses particularly on district heating, wind farms, nuclear energy regulation and grid connection.
Alongside her work at CMS Kluge, Berge lectures at the faculty of law of the University of Oslo, and is a supervisor and examiner for master's theses.
