Frederik Nordby works primarily with public procurement law, state aid law and other EU/EEA law.

Within public procurement, Nordby assists both public entities and private operators in procurement processes. He has particular experience with procurement of complex ICT systems, and he therefore has good knowledge of ICT contracts as well. He also has broad experience from litigation procedures, both before the courts as well as before the Norwegian Complaints Board for Public Procurement.

Nordby also has broad experience within state aid law, where he primarily advises public entities on state aid law, and assists in notification procedures before the EFTA Surveillance Authority (ESA).

Nordby har previously worked in ESA's competition and state aid directorate, and as a research assistant at the Centre for European Law at the University of Oslo.
