Jan Magne Isaksen assists clients with commercial dispute resolution in various areas of law, and has conducted a number of major cases before all courts, both alone and as part of a larger team. Jan Magne is also admitted to the Supreme Court. In addition to broad experience from general litigation, he has regularly assisted in cases concerning enforcement, preservation of evidence, temporary injunctions and arrest. In addition, Jan Magne has experience from national and international arbitration.
Isaksen has particular experience with disputes concerning contract law, real estate, employment law, company law and tort law, including personal liability under Chapter 17 of the Norwegian Companies Act (liability for general manager, board member, member of the corporate assembly, investigator or shareholder), where Jan Magne regularly litigates these types of disputes before the courts.
In addition to dispute resolution and litigation, Isaksen provides ongoing advice to clients in various industries and disciplines, particularly related to contract, corporate and construction law issues.
Isaksen is also a popular speaker and regularly gives lectures to companies, clients and students, particularly on the topics of directors' liability, civil procedure, evidence protection and litigation.
