Maria Stokseth Hurlen works in CMS Kluge’s department for Energy, Industry and Climate. She advises clients from both the private and public sectors, with a particular focus on contract law and renewable energy.

Maria is also part of CMS Kluge’s ESG team, where she especially focuses on the Norwegian Transparency Act and related legislation. She has co-authored the book “Åpenhetsloven i praksis”, which is a practical guidance to the Norwegian Transparency Act.

Maria holds a master’s degree of law from the University of Oslo, where she wrote her master’s thesis about the requirements for the use of sustainability claims in the marketing of goods and services.
