Matias works with commercial property, building projects, and contract matters – primarily for private developers. For developers, Matias particularly deals with the phases from implementation of zoning plans, including development agreements, to setting up and executing building projects/constructions and the sales process, which includes, among other things, final account and defect cases, as well as assistance in building matters.

Matias regularly appears in court, and he has considerable experience with dispute resolution for actors in the property industry.

Matias has also written the book "Byggeteknisk viten" (2021) at Universitetsforlaget together with lawyer Espen Nyland. The book deals with the level of innovation/the use of new solutions and materials in the construction and civil engineering industry, and the contractor's responsibility under contract and technical building regulations.

Beyond traditional consulting, Matias has worked with the reuse of building materials and other environmental measures in building projects, and he led the legal work with this for Entra ASA in the pilot project KA13 in Oslo.

In addition to his position as an associate partner at CMS Kluge, Matias is also affiliated with the University of Oslo and the University of Tromsø as an examiner, in addition to being a board member of Ungt Entrepriseforum and an author at Universitetsforlaget.

Matias has previously been a research assistant at the Institute of Private Law at the University of Oslo.
