Nicolai René Nielsen

Nicolai Nielsen is head of CMS Kluge's department of Construction.

Nicolai Nielsen has worked at CMS Kluge since 2010, focusing primarily on the areas of construction law and public procurements. He has in-depth knowledge of standard contracts in the area of construction and consultancy assignments, combined with experience in all types of construction models. Nicolai also has substantial experience with consultancy contracts and has represented construction clients, consultants and contractors in major dispute proceedings regarding consultancy commissions. He has worked on a number of major construction assignments, providing assistance in all aspects of building and construction projects.

Nicolai Nielsen represents both public and private sector players in the building and construction industry. He has represented construction clients, contractors and consultants in a range of significant dispute proceedings heard by the courts, and has appreciable experience as a litigator before the ordinary courts and the court of arbitration. Nicolai has also assisted clients with appeals heard by the Norwegian Complaints Board (KOFA).

Nicolai Nielsen is regularly engaged as an external examiner and supervisor at the University of Oslo for the subjects of construction law, international trade law and international arbitration law.
