Claudia Ocampos is an Associate in the Energy and Climate Change practice at CMS Grau. She has experience advising domestic and international companies in the hydrocarbons sector on regulatory, contractual and corporate matters related to the exploration, production, transportation, processing and commercialisation of hydrocarbons.
Her practice focuses on providing comprehensive legal advice to companies in the energy sector, including the analysis and application of sector-specific regulations, the preparation of legal reports, the handling of legal queries, participation in proceedings before competent authorities, and legal support in the development of projects and operations related to the oil and gas industry.
Prior to joining CMS Grau, she was part of the Legal and Regulatory Affairs team at UNNA Energía, where she advised on matters related to the development of energy-sector activities, regulatory compliance and legal risk management. Her experience includes participating in projects involving regulatory inspections, legal and regulatory analysis, and advising on matters before sector authorities such as OSINERGMIN, OEFA and Perupetro.
Claudia holds a law degree from the University of Piura, where she participated in academic initiatives focused on the study and research of Administrative Law and Civil Law, contributing to university-led legal research and legal outreach activities.
