Mining, Natural Resources and Sustainability

We provide comprehensive advisory services to the mining industry. Our focus is on enabling investment viability, starting from early stages such as structuring, financing, and general consultancy, to support in obtaining the necessary permits and authorisations for the development of various phases of mining activities.

From a multidisciplinary perspective, we support the business. With over 30 years of experience and a presence in the major LATAM countries, we are well-positioned to provide local advice to clients evaluating or maintaining interests in other countries within the region. We have advised various organisations, including Compañía Minera Antamina and its shareholders, in one of the largest financings in Peruvian mining, amounting to USD 2.3 billion for the construction and commissioning of the "Antamina" project. We also provided advisory services to Silver Wheaton on the financing through offtake to Grupo Hudbay for the construction and implementation of the "Constancia" project for USD 600 million, and to Glencore on the sale of the mining stream of the "Antapaccay" project for USD 500 million.

Regarding asset purchases and M&A, we have advised Glencore on the sale of "Las Bambas" to MMG for USD 7 billion, one of the highest-value transactions in Peru. We also advised Mitsubishi on the acquisition of a stake in the "Quellaveco" project.

Our extensive experience allows us to understand and recognise the various challenges of the business, and we are dedicated to identifying and mitigating risks. To this end, we also offer George, a management system that efficiently identifies, systematises, and manages our clients' compliance systems.

We are committed to adding value to the organisation through identifying and mitigating business risks, incorporating technology that aids in managing obligations, and improving efficiency. We provide timely, appropriate, and practical solutions.
