Lucía Gonzales is an Associate in the Environmental Law area at CMS Grau, specialising in environmental law with a particular focus on waste management, circular economy, and environmental certification. Her practice is centred on promoting regulatory compliance through a preventative approach, as well as contributing to the strengthening of environmental management within companies across various sectors, including mining, energy, transport, fisheries, and industry.

She possesses extensive experience in the identification and management of legal requirements, responding to queries related to environmental matters, occupational health and safety, conducting compliance assessments, and representing clients in administrative proceedings before various authorities.

Lucía holds a Law degree from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and a Master’s degree in Environmental and Sustainability Law from the Universidad de Alicante (Spain), obtained through a scholarship. Additionally, she has completed a specialisation in Environmental Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a diploma in Environmental Management, Safety, Accountability, and Formalisation of Mining Activities.
