Santiago Macías is an associate in the Labour practice at CMS Grau, with over ten years of experience advising both public and private sector clients on labour and constitutional law matters. His practice focuses on collective bargaining, immigration procedures, judicial litigation, and administrative proceedings.
Throughout his career, Santiago has been involved in labour audits, identifying key contingencies that could impact business operations. He has also handled complex cases involving both collective and individual negotiations, employee terminations, and the implementation of workplace policies. He is a registered arbitrator with the Ministry of Labour and Employment Promotion (MTPE).
Santiago holds a Law degree and a Master’s in Procedural Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He also completed a Master’s in Labour Law and Social Security at the University of La Rioja, and has specialised in Oral Litigation at the Universidad de Salamanca. In addition, he has received targeted training in the prevention of sexual harassment from GenderLab. Santiago regularly speaks at conferences and academic events.
