We are delighted to invite you the 2nd CEE Forensic Conference, which will be held at Centrum Nauki Kopernik in Warsaw on 25 April 2018.

These days compliance issues are never far from the headlines. Internal investigations and audits are becoming everyday events, and can cause serious disruption. In this year’s edition of the conference, we will focus on whistleblowing in CEE. Poland is a particularly interesting country in this respect – a new law on transparency in public life with a strong focus on whistleblowing may soon be adopted.

Our keynote speaker will be Bradley Birkenfeld – a former financial industry professional and one of the most significant whistleblowers in history. He blew the whistle on the largest and longest-running tax fraud by ultra-wealthy Americans aided and abetted by UBS Bank. The Internal Revenue Service gave him a whistleblower award of $104 million, the largest-ever reward of its kind. He is the author of the bestseller “Lucifer’s Banker: The Untold Story of How I Destroyed Swiss Bank Secrecy”.

Our speakers will also include prominent representatives of corporate investigations departments and legal experts in the area of compliance from Bank BPH, Bayer, CMC Markets UK, IBM, Orange and Volkswagen as well as legal practitioners from CMS.

If you would like to attend the conference, please register before 20 April 2018.

The conference will be conducted in English only.
