CMS advises BNP Paribas Bank Polska on financing for Hillwood to develop two logistics parks

International law firm CMS has advised BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. on financing worth a total of EUR 48m for Hillwood Polska to development two logistics parks, in Syców and Rawa Mazowiecka.

The logistics parks in Syców and Rawa Mazowiecka together offer more than 217,000 sq. m. of warehouse space. Hillwood is committed to reducing the impact of its operations on the environment, which is why both parks will be equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting and some of the installed equipment will be powered by renewable energy from photovoltaic farms. Flower meadows will be planted around the buildings, which will naturally support a better microclimate around the parks.

Additionally, a park has been built at Rawa Mazowiecka on the reclaimed land of a former meat plant and the city's tallest building. The development of this park will cost EUR 35m, while the investment in Syców will amount to EUR 13m.

CMS's advice included preparing the financing documentation and conducting a due diligence.
