CMS has advised Siemens Financial Services through Siemens Bank, mBank S.A., Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A., and GLAS SAS – acting as Facility Agent and Security Agent – on the financing of a portfolio of 73 individual solar projects developed by GoldenPeaks Capital. The project revenues are partially hedged through a Euro-denominated corporate power purchase agreement (PPA), with the remainder generated on a merchant basis.
CMS provided comprehensive support in structuring the financing arrangements, negotiating finance documentation, and advising on all legal aspects related to loan utilisation. The firm also advised on selected project-related matters, including reviewing key project documentation and providing advice on renewable energy regulations.
The CMS Banking and Finance team was led by Karolina Bandzul-Król and included Katarzyna Kaptur, Katarzyna Lesińska, Katarzyna Mazur, Michał Kużel and Michał Szcześniak under the supervision of Michał Mężykowski.
