International law firm CMS has advised DNB Bank ASA and PKO Bank Polski S.A. on financing provided to GoldenPeaks Capital, which is developing 55 individual solar projects with a total capacity of 72.0 MWp in various regions of Poland.
GoldenPeaks Capital is one of the fastest growing independent green energy producers in Europe, and owns one of the largest photovoltaic systems in Poland.
The CMS Banking and Finance team advising the banks on the finance documents was led by Krzysztof Mrozik (counsel) and Karolina Bandzul-Król (senior associate), with assistance from Dominika Roszkowska and Bartosz Potrykus (lawyers). Work on the project was supervised by Michał Mężykowski, the partner leading CMS Poland’s Banking and Finance practice.
Piotr Ciołkowski, partner in the Energy and Infrastructure practice, supported by Wojciech Szopiński (senior associate), advised on project-related aspects, including renewable energy regulations.
