CMS has advised on the sale of the Jantar shopping centre in Słupsk, Poland, to Czech investment group SCF.

With a leasable area of approximately 44,000 sq. m. spread over two floors, more than 125 stores and 1,100 parking spaces, the Jantar shopping centre is the largest retail destination in the Central Pomerania region. Located along the main highway to Szczecin, it offers excellent accessibility for both drivers and public transport users. The modern complex is a regional hub for fashion and leisure, featuring brand-name fashion stores, a Multikino multiplex cinema, a large food court and a children's playground, alongside tenants such as Media Markt, Jula, Rossmann, Decathlon, Reserved, Cropp, H&M, New Yorker and Empik.

This transaction represents one of the most significant shopping centre deals completed in Poland in recent years and underscores the continued attractiveness of well-positioned retail assets in Central Europe.

The transaction also reflects investors' sustained appetite for high-quality, well-established retail assets in Poland and the CEE region. The sale of Jantar, the largest shopping centre in the Central Pomerania region, further underscores the value of strongly positioned regional assets with stable fundamentals and long-term growth potential.

The CMS team provided comprehensive real estate legal advice to CBRE Investment Management, covering the due diligence, preparing and negotiating the transaction documentation, and supporting the process through to closing.

The CMS team was led by Agata Jurek-Zbrojska and Katarzyna Szostak, with support from Marika Brokos (Real Estate).
