CMS is pleased to announce that Dóra Petrányi has been appointed as the firm’s CEE Managing Director to manage and develop CMS operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Dora begins her four year term with effect from this month, May 2016, succeeding Andrew Kozlowski who has managed CMS’ CEE operations since 2011. Dora’s role will cover CMS offices in Bucharest, Budapest, Kyiv*, Poznań, Prague, Sofia**, Istanbul and Warsaw.
With more than 20 years of experience in the region and based in Budapest, Dora has held a number of leadership positions including Deputy Managing Partner for CEE and Co-Head of the CEE TMC Group. Her experience in leading regional teams and cross border projects includes 9 years in a leadership in-house position with Deutsche Telekom’s Hungarian subsidiary – one of the largest companies in Central and Eastern Europe. Her areas of specialisation span from IT law, competition law, IP law, public procurement matters and general commercial contracts, to corporate restructuring and M&A. She joined the firm in 2009.
