CMS has received 12 distinctions in the first edition of the Index of Law Firms and Lawyers of the Future – Law, Technology & Innovation, organised by Poland’s leading legal daily newspaper, Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (DGP).
The Index, known in Polish as the Index Kancelarii i Prawników Przyszłości, recognises law firms and individual lawyers who led to ground-breaking cases and implemented innovative solutions in 2025, particularly in areas such as technology, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, compliance and the green transition.
CMS was recognised in seven categories: AI & LegalTech; Cyber & Data; Energy and Green Transition; Defence; Infrastructure and Strategic Investment Law; New Technologies Law; and White-Collar & Compliance.
Five CMS lawyers also received individual distinctions: Marcin Bejm, Tomasz Koryzma, Władek Rzycki, Łukasz Szatkowski and Adriana Zdanowicz-Leśniak.
Andrzej Pośniak, Global Executive Committee Member, Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe and Managing Partner at CMS Poland, said: “These distinctions confirm that we are on the right path. We are particularly pleased with the recognition in the AI & LegalTech category, which reflects our commitment to technological innovation. At CMS, we view the adoption of innovation and new technologies, including artificial intelligence, not as a choice but as an inevitable evolution. Thanks to our global resources and the scale of our operations, we can implement these solutions more quickly and widely than others in the market, while maintaining control over the quality and security of our services.”
The Index Kancelarii i Prawników Przyszłości by DGP is a new benchmark for legal innovation in the Polish market. Its focus on forward-looking practice areas makes it a significant addition to the country’s legal rankings landscape.
