CMS Poland honoured at the Legal 500 CEE Awards 2025
On 16 October, CMS was honoured with a total of ten awards at the Legal 500 CEE Awards 2025 gala. CMS Poland secured the following wins:
- CEE Real Estate and Construction Firm of the Year
- CEE Tax Firm of the Year.
In addition to the firmwide recognition, the following CMS lawyers were individually honoured:
- Małgorzata Urbańska – Poland Lawyer of the Year;
- Małgorzata Brauckmann-Sajkiewicz – Tax Next Generation Partner of the Year; and
- Olga Czyżycka-Szczygieł – Leading Associate of the Year.
CMS Hungary also received accolades: Hungary Firm of the Year, Banking, Finance and Capital Markets Firm of the Year, and Data Privacy and Data Protection Firm of the Year. The other individual awards went to Szabolcs Szendrő (CMS Hungary) and Kateryna Chechulina (CMS Ukraine).
These awards are based on the Legal 500’s thorough, independent research for its annual legal directory. Winners are selected by a team led by Legal 500 CEE editor Mike De Luca.

The Legal 500 CEE Awards 2025 gala is an event during which the top law firms and lawyers in Central and Eastern Europe are recognised for their work and commitment to the development of the legal market in the region. CMS was nominated in a total of 62 categories.
